The Favre opinion/Note on the All-Star game.

This is my stance on Favre: I think he's a good QB and a good player. But I also think he needs to make up his mind already. He wants to play. He wants to retire. He tears up and gets emotional and everything over it. He comes back. He retires again. Now he wants to come back? Come on dude, you either play for a year or so more or you're done for good, no turning back. Yeah, I think he can make things happen for the Packers, but the way he's handling his career he's teasing the Green Bay management and messing them up by almost forcing them to re-do their off and even their on season plans. It's about time Favre figured the rest of his life out.

About the MLB All-Star game: I should never, under any circumstances, end in a tie. Come on, there has got to be another way to end one of the greatest games in the baseball season. There's just gotta be another way. Even if it's letting pitchers come in for a second time. Or forcing the last pitcher remaining on the roster to end it. Anything is better than a tie.

Mets now have umpire issues. Wonderful.

So, if your a Mets fan, you know about this whole Delgado/Manuel vs. that ump deal.

My beef with this is that it's just another problem for the Mets. Us fans have been complaining about who should go and debating about who should stay since the first pitch of the season. We've had issues with the management and who is managing the team and who should be managing and how Willie was screwed one way or another and who should be coaching what and all that.

Doesn't the team have enough issues? Seriously, the fanbase is tearing the organization apart bit by individual bit. Now we have this ump who ejects our manager and player for provoking them. Absolutely wonderful. Good for Manuel for not making this a big deal, putting it behind him, and focusing on the present and not the past.

I'd still like to see the ump fined though. Come on, this just isn't at all professional...if I, as a lifeguard, am expected to be a "professional rescuer" at my local pool, then this ump can be expected to be professional in one of the biggest leagues in America.
